Ratnieki is a place where celebration, work and relaxation come together amid the beauty of nature.
The complex is a site of cultural and historical significance, connected to one of the most outstanding representatives of Latvia’s first period of independence industrial heritage – Roberts Hiršs (1895–1972), owner and director of the textile company “Rīgas Audums” and a patron of the University of Latvia. He bequeathed “Ratnieki” to the University of Latvia in 1972.
